I have mentioned in the past that back in December I got what I thought was a not too badly priced data plan from Rogers for my iPhone. I mean it is all relative, but after paying $25 a month for 5MB of data for the past few years, having a 1GB plan for $65 was almost like winning the lottery.
So the chatter this week, that Rogers is about to implement some changes to their data plans comes with a little excitement. Most of all, because I will be able to justify getting my wife a data plan for her iPhone. There are a bunch of cool apps for things like mileage tracking which I have found to be very useful.
The whole web apps only thing makes a lot more sense when you are on an unlimited plan, but who knows how that will all change when th iPhone SDK is released.
