I received an email today with a great idea for cleaning up Winnipeg's downtown core. It looks as though there is a couple of afternoons being organized to clean up a couple of targetted areas in the downtown area.

What I like about this plan is it not just about cleaning up an area where it is well-deserved, but it also seems to be including a little bit of team-work, networking, cocktails and fun with a great overall goal.

Finding a few corporate sponsors, and making it into a fun time will probably attract more participants than sadly would otherwise be the case.

Unfortunately I will not be around during these two dates, otherwise I wouldh have participated, but maybe some of you readers might be interested in helping to clean up Winnipeg's downtown core!

Lets just keep our fingers crossed that the weather is great next week!
